About the project

For this project, we worked in a team of 6 people (2 developers, 3 artists, 1 designer), and had to make a game in which we combined the real world and the digital world. We decided to make a museum you could experience in VR, with all sorts of cool effects and non-euclidian geometry.

Functionality

In this VR game, you walk through a virtual museum and experience the paintings and exhibitions. Upon getting close you can interact with these, doing something different based on the exhibition.

The VR is done with the Unity VR packages making use of the XR Rig. The non-euclidion geometry is done with cameras rendering a rendertexture onto a plane and attaching a teleport trigger to that plane.

My role in the project

I was one of the 2 developers in the team, and coded the non-euclidian geometry. I also helped with setting up and testing the XR Rig as I have an Oculus to test with at home myself, and had used it to test prototypes I made before.
